Drilling Mud Recycling System

Recently, One unit of desander unit and decanter centrifuge unit are ready for shipment for construction mud treatment to overseas company. The technical configuration is as below:

The desander unit model is GNMS-1000D, it includes a double deck shale shaker with desander cones, centrifugal pumps, mud tank, tank accessories. It is an ideal compact design desander unit for bored pilings, TBM, HDD trenchless engineering and other construction works, the treating capacity is 1000gpm. After treatment, the clean mud will flow back to drilling machine for reuse or it can be used to prepare for new drilling fluids with mixing hopper and mixing pump. You can use GN produced jet mud mixer unit ( mixing hopper, mixing pump, pipelines, electric control panel on one skid as a complete mixing unit to contact with client’s own storage tank.The separation cut point is 40 microns. If you need to separate fine solids, the desander unit will be re-designed with desilter hydrocyclones, with separation cut point 20 microns. After treated by desilter cone, the clean fluids can be reused for construction, the purpose is to reduce water consumption, reduce construction waste, to meet environmental protection regulation of local government. After long time operation, more and more fine solids smaller than 20 microns accumulated in the mud, which can not be reused, then we will need to use decanter centrifuge unit, which with separation cut point 5 microns. And after the project is finished, it is required to separate the water from solids for final disposal, water will be disposal to river, and the solids for landfill or other construction works.

The decanter centrifuge unit model is GNLW224FT-VFD, the max G force is up to 3077G, and max speed is up to 5000rpm. Working with chemical dosing unit, the construction water will be clean for disposal.

Recently one set of 1500gpm HDD mud recycling system are ready for shipment to Middle East, It is checked qualified by third party inspection, it is under packaging for delivery. The technical configuration is as below:

Part 1: mud cleaning system including 1 unit of GNZS594J linear motion shale shaker, 1 unit of GNZJ594-3S16N linear motion mud cleaner, 2 units of centrifugal pump as feeding pump of desander cone and desilter cone, mud agitator, lighting system and mud tank with tank accessories and electric control system

3 pcs of 10 inch desander cone and 16pcs of 4 inch desilter cones are installed on a GNZS594J shale shaker, the bottom flow shaker is same model with primary shale shaker, when it is under maintenance, which can be used as back up. 4pcs of composite material frame shaker screens are installed on the shale shaker, with total screen area 2.73m2, the deck angle adjustment range is from -1º to +5º, the max G force is up to 7.5G, it is adjustable for different requirement.

Part 2: mud mixing system including 1 unit of mud tank, with mud agitator, mixing pump, mixing hopper , lighting system, explosion proof control system

Part 3: spare shaker screens to be installed on the shale shaker and mud cleaner, tools

The whole system is connected by pipelines for smooth working, the HDD slurry can be picked up by submersible slurry pump from mud pit to the mud cleaning system, the treated fluids flow to mud mixing system to prepare for new drilling fluids, which can be reused for drilling machine. A good mud recycling system can protect the drilling machine and extend its working life, and also reduce drilling waste accordingly. The inclined plate clarifier is firstly to be used for solids liquid separation in the oil sludge treatment system, chemicals like polymer pretreatment can improve the solids removal efficiency, it can be used based on different conditions and decide by the user. The working principal is that the inclined plate settling surfaces pitched at 55 degree angle. The solids slide down the plates in the sludge hopper, which can be transferred by a pump to solids collection box, the liquid remained in the top layer. The fluids flow to oil water separator for further treatment. The advantages of inclines plate clarifier is cheaper price, no electricity power required, simple operation, compact structure, high treating capacity, but it also with disadvantages such as lower treatment standard, it mainly used different gravity of the different materials, if the treatment result is required very high, the inclined plate clarifier can not be used.

Recently one set of mini decanter centrifuge and mini shale shaker are ready for shipment for mining exploration.

Mining shale shaker and decanter centrifuge are major equipments of diamond core drilling solids removal unit for waste water treatment. The mini shale shaker’s function is to remove the coarse solids from the waste water, and reduce the solids content, so that the fluids feeding to decanter centrifuge can meet the feeding standard, which will improve the decanter centrifuge treatment performance. The decanter centrifuge is to remove the fine solids from the waste water and get much clean water, which can be reused for drilling. The purpose to use the solids removal unit is to recycle the water , reduce water consumption and reduce drilling cost.
If the coarse solids content is very less, a filter can be used before centrifuge to prevent coarse solids entering into decanter centrifuge, otherwise the centrifuge screw will be easily blocked and easily damaged by the coarse solids.

The 9 inch decanter centrifuge has 2 models for different applications. GNLW223 mini decanter centrifuge is the economic centrifuge for fine solids separation, the max speed is 4500rpm, and max G force is 2492G, the typical speed is 3800rpm, and working G force is 1777G, the design capacity is 130L/min, the typical capacity is 100L/min, the dewatering capacity is 1 m3/h.
When ultra fine solids required to be separated out, GNLW224F-VFD decanter centrifuge can be applied, the bowl length is 36.4 inch, the bowl length is longer for longer time clarification of material for better treatment performance. Max speed is 5000rpm, typical speed is 0 ~ 4500rpm, to reach working G force 2492G.A VFD control panel will adjust the main motor, back motor frequency to reach better treatment result.

Recently one set of big bowl decanter centrifuge package is ready for delivery to international mining tailings dewatering project. The big bowl decanter centrifuge model is GNLW764A-VFD, which has been widely used for mining tailings dewatering project in the past. The system including 2 containers, the top container with big bowl decanter centrifuge, the bottom container with chemical dosing unit, both of the containers with windows and doors, for convenient transportation and operation.

GNLW764A-VFD decanter centrifuge technical parameter is as below:
Bowl diameter is 30inch (760mm), bowl length is 3328mm, the max capacity is 120m3/h, the treating capacity for oil sludge , mining tailings and other materials will be various as per different conditions. max bowl speed is 2650rpm, max G force is 3000G, the mechanical separation cut point is 2~ 5 microns, differential speed is 5~ 28 rpm, and gearbox torch is up to 25000 N.M., gearbox ratio is 38:1, the main motor is 160KW (217HP)，back drive motor is 90KW (120HP). The bowl main components including big end, small end, are made of duplex stainless steel 2304, the collection box is also made of SS304, the screw is made of stainless steel, and the bearing is from SKF for reliable working. By working with chemical additives, the centrifuge can separate ultra fine solids from the mining tailings, to get more clear water and drier solids. VFD control panel for main motor, back drive motor and feeding pump motor can adjust the motor frequency and control the feeding rate and get required treatment result.

The coal dewatering centrifuge can be utilized for coarse coal, fine coal, ultra fine coal, coal tailings dewatering treatment.
