Oil Sludge Treatment Plant commissioning for China Client

Recently one set of oil sludge treatment plant are finished commissioning for our customer in China. It is our standard designed oil sludge treatment system.
The technical configuration is as below:


1) Pre-mixing tank modular: the mud agitator are installed on the mixing tank, the received oil sludge adding proper chemicals and mixing them evenly. The submersible slurry pump transfer the free oil sludge to coarse solids separation modular.
2) Coarse solids separation modular, the high G drying shaker separate the big solids from the oil sludge and reduce the solids content. So that the fluids will be safe to be transferred to decanter centrifuge.


3) 3 phase separation modular, the screw pump feed the fluids to decanter centrifuge with chemical dosing unit, most of the fine solids below 5 microns will be separated out. The fluids are dropped into the catching tank, the pump transfer the fluids to disc centrifuge, which will separate the oil and water, the oil flow to oil buffer tank and water is storage in water buffer tank. The water can be reused in the treatment system, the oil can be recovered. The washing tank is installed to wash the disc centrifuge to avoid blocking. All of the electric control system are explosion proof standard.

Before order, we encourage client to send the oil sludge sample to GN solids engineer and make a lab test to confirm if the chemicals are proper for the oil sludge or not, the customer will order until the testing result is good. After the whole system are shipped to customer’s jobsite, our engineer will come as per request for first time commissioning and training.

Drilling Mud Mixing Tank and Mixing Pump for Engineering Company

Recently one unit of mud mixing tank and 8 sets of mixing pump are shipped to engineering company. The mud mixing tank including 2 round tank with transfer pump, electric control panel with skid, pipelines, valves. The mixing pump and mixing hopper are installed on the skid with pipelines. It is an independent part of mud mixing tank. The mud agitator are installed on top of the mud mixing tank for better agitating and mixing of the chemicals with the drilling fluids.


GN centrifugal pump is interchangeable with world famous brand centrifugal pump, including the bare pump and pump parts. The impeller and pump casing are made of ductile hard iron for better wear resistance. The centrifugal pump can be used as trip pump, mixing pump, super charging pump, transfer pump, feeding pump, etc.
We can design customized mud mixing system according to client’s requirement, normally we design square shape mud tank, the jet mud mixer are connected with mud mixing tank as independent part. Except for mud mixing system, we also produce and design mud recycling system. According to different treating capacity, we have option for 200gpm, 400gpm, 600gpm, 800gpm, 1000gpm mud recycling system. We have 2 phase cleaning, 3 phase cleaning system for mud mixing system, 2 phase cleaning including shale shaker and desilter cone with mud mixing unit, 3 phase cleaning system including shale shaker, desander cone and desilter cone with mud mixing unit.


The mud agitator motor from 3KW to 22KW to suit for different size mud mixing tank, including GNJBQ030-D, GNJBQ055-D, GNJBQ075-DD, GNJBQ110-DD, GNJBQ150-DD, GNJBQ220-DD. The jet mud mixer including mud mixing hopper with different centrifugal pump, we can also install the mud mixing hopper on top of mud tank and the mixing pump installed on the tank skid or the mixing hopper and mixing pump both on the tank skid.

Drilling Cuttings Dryer and Centrifuge for international drilling company

Recently one set of vertical cuttings dryer and decanter centrifuge are ready for shipment to international drilling company. The standard oil based drilling cuttings treatment system including vertical cuttings dryer GNCD930F and decanter centrifuge GNLW363C-VFD, with flushing pump, centrifuge feeding pump, telescopic skid, fluids collection tank, screw conveyor system, waste container, etc.


The F version vertical cuttings dryer is the lastest version vertical cuttings dryer, It is the ideal equipment for oil based drilling waste management system, the working principal is normally as below:
The screw conveyor collect the drilling cuttings from solids control equipments, such as shale shaker, desander, desilter, another screw conveyor which is installed slantly, to transfer the cuttings to vertical cuttings dryer feeding port. The fluids flow to the intermediate tank and the submersible slurry pump or screw pump will transfer the fluids to decanter centrifuge to separate fine solids. The solids discharged from vertical cuttings dryer with oil on the cuttings below 5%, it can be landfilled for disposal or to be sent to further treatment TDU. The fluids treated by decanter centrifuge can be recovered and back to solids control system storage tank, it can be used to prepare for new drilling fluids or sent to third party waste water treatment facility to get clear water.


To treat water based mud drilling waste, we need to use high G drying shaker instead of vertical cuttings dryer, the G force is up to 8.0 G to get drying cuttings, the fluids will be feed to decanter centrifuge, the VFD control panel can control 3 motors frequency and control the bowl speed, screw conveyor speed, pump speed ( to adjust the feeding flow rate). All of the 3 inverters are made from world famous brand electrical components for easy outsourcing locally. We can provide CNEX, ATEX, IEC EX explosion proof standard for option.

Drilling Mud Vacuum Degasser and Centrifugal pump for Indonesia Client

Recently 4 sets of vacuum degasser and centrifugal pumps are ready for shipment to Indonesia. The equipments are installed on the mud tank system for oil & gas drilling rig and workover rig. The major solids control equipments including shale shaker, desander, desilter or mud cleaner, vacuum degasser ( or centrifugal degasser), centrifugal pump, decanter centrifuge, mud agitator, mud gun, mud tank, mud gas separator, flare ignition device, mixing hopper, mixing pump, etc.


If the client need a zero discharge system, we will add drilling waste management system to connect with solids control equipments, such as screw conveyor, sludge vacuum pump, vertical cuttings dryer, waste centrifuge, high G drying shaker.
GN vacuum degasser is a self suction degasser unit to separate the gas from the gas cut mud, to protect the next process equipment, like desander desilter feeding pump, and keep the drilling mud balance. The working principal of the vacuum degasser do no need a jet pump, it is self suction unit. The major components of GN vacuum degasser including vacuum tank, electric control panel, water ring vacuum pump, gas water separator, explosion proof motor , the vacuum pump to create negative pressure in the vacuum tank, the mud enter into the rotor shaft, through the suction pipe under the action of atmospheric pressure , the mud spray to the wall and separated to thin layers bubble immersed in the slurry breakup and gas escape.


The centrifugal pump can be widely used as desander feeding pump, desilter feeding pump, trip pump, mixing pump, super charging pump, transfer pump. The impeller and pump casing are made of ductile hard iron for better abrasion resistance. We can also provide the replacement parts for other brand centrifugal pump.
