Based on different site schedule, the installation of Vist vacuum shaker screen unit have 2 ways: 1) it is installed externally of the shale shaker, there is one pipe to connect to the last shaker screen of the shale shaker; 2) it is installed under the last shaker screen of the shale shaker when there is enough room.

The purpose to install the vacuum is to reduce drilling waste:
1) Reduce the volume of drilling waste, the drilling cuttings will be much drier, the fluids on the cuttings is reduced 30% to 50%, so the further drilling waste treatment cost is much cheaper, or the transportation cost of drilling cuttings is cheaper
2) Increase the drilling fluids recovery efficiency, save the cost to prepare new drilling fluids
3) Save the cost of the client to buy more equipments, such as drying shaker, shaker screens, vertical cuttings dryer, etc, also save the space to install these equipments

Recently GN solids control shipped 8 sets of shale shaker without vibration motor shipped to our clients, the client will install the vibration motors by themselves who had installation capability. This is not the first order from this client, they repeat orders because they are satisfied with the working performance of GN shale shakers which they ordered before.


Shaker deck is the most esscential components for a shale shaker, the bottom material treatment before painting, we owns our ball blasting machine, the ball blasting degree is 2.5 with working life 10 years more, we can control the bottom treatment quality better, unlike other solids control manufacturer in China, they use sand blasting which is provided by third party supplier. 3 layers painting and coating by choosing Japan Kansai or US ppg brand painting, to promise the shaker deck not to get rusty and abrasion during the operation. In some tenders, it required the complete the shaker deck( all the vibration and non vibration components) are made of stainless steel material, it will increase the shaker production cost a lot and the the client has to pay more money.


The deck bottom of GN shaker is made of stainless steel material, and the unique rubber sealing technology to ensure the reliable performance of the rubber sealings, we also use GN own made composite material shaker screens, the working life is 2 times compared with the traditional steel frame shaker screens.

Last week, GN’s new order of a new system for soil remediation was successfully delivered to a customer’s job site in Seattle. This system mainly includes a high-G drying shaker, desilter, and a large bowl decanter centrifuge. Except for the main equipment, this system also includes some hoppers, tanks, centrifuge racks, pilling system and so on.


After years of development, GN has become a comprehensive company that can manufacture not only the single unit of solid control equipment, such as the shale shaker, decanter centrifuge, cutting dryer, mud cleaner, etc, but also it can manufacture many kinds of systems applied in the trenchless, tunneling, mining, oil and gas drilling. After treating by GN’s equipment, the cuttings or solids will be dry enough and environmental friendly, can be directly disposed and recycled or reused. The high-G shaker’s G force could reach up to 8 G and can make the wastes very dry. All the components are world famous brand, MARTIN motor, and the shaker screens are all adopting GN’s new upgraded composite frame screen. The decanter centrifuge is 22 inch large bowl, the bowl material is made of very advanced and tough 2205 type stainless steel, all the screw conveyor’s surface is covered by tungsten carbide tiles. The solid and liquid discharge port are also made of tungsten carbide inserts. The bearings are all made of SKF world famous bearing. The centrifuge is variable speed and controlled by world famous brand SIEMENS or ABB. The equipment can separate the solid size up to 2 to 5 microns, if adding some floccurant, the solid size for separation could reach almost zero.

Recently GN just sold two decanter centrifuges to a US customer for their project in Canada. The two decanter centrifuges are 22 inches and 14 inches. This is a new project for the soil remediation, which is a new area for the decanter centrifuge application.
As an advanced decanter centrifuge manufacturer, GN’s decanter centrifuges have been sold to more than 60 countries, and after being tested and applied in the job sites, GN’s product performance proved to be reliable and consistent. Now GN can manufacture not only the single solid control equipment, but also the whole cleaning system, such as the shale shaker, decanter centrifuge, mud cleaner, cutting dryer, and various kinds of pumps. All the equipment can work together and combined as an integral part to clean the contaminated soil and water, and make it reusable and environmental friendly. The 22 inch bowl size decanter centrifuge has medium speed to do the coarse separation, the 14 inch bowl size decanter has fast speed to do the finer separation. You can also add a flocculate system to separate even finer solids, the size almost close to zero.


Now all the decanter centrifuges have been upgraded, the bowl material is 2205 stainless steel which is very tough and needs little maintenance. The solid and liquid discharge port material is tungsten carbide, which is tough. The screw conveyor surface is covered by the tungsten carbide tiles, which is replaceable when it is damaged. The bearing is adopted the world famous brand SKF and all the electrical control is also using the world famous ABB or SIMENS, according to customer’s needs and requirement. Now the Canadian customer is very satisfied with the decanter centrifuges and they are using it to do the soil remediation work and water cleaning.
