GN Shale Shaker and Mud Cleaner for offshore drilling platform

One batch of shale shaker and mud cleaner are ready for shipment for offshore drilling platform.
The shale shaker model is GNZS596K, it is a double deck shale shaker with 6pcs shaker screens, top layer with 2pcs shaker screen, bottom layer with 4pcs shaker screen, each shaker screen dimension is 585x1165mm, total screen area is 4.09m2, the deck angle is -1°~+5°, the shale shaker is drived by 2ea 2.2KW vibration motor. The reference treating capacity is 140m3/h.


The shale shaker is closed by anti splash cover, with flushing nozzle system to washing the screen.


The mud cleaner is 1500gpm linear motion shale shaker, it is a combination unit of desander cone, desilter cone and GNZS594K bottom shaker. The technical specification including 3 ea of 10 inch desander cone, 16 ea of 4 inch desilter cone, bottom shale shaker GNZS594K. The bottom capacity is 600gpm, which is drived by 2ea of 1.94KW vibration motor, the vibration G force is≤7.5G, 4 pcs 585x1165mm shaker screen with total screen area 2.73m2, the deck adjustable angle is -1°~+5°. GN Shaker Screen has been tested by third party lab according to API RP 13C standard (ISO13501). GN production quality management system has passed the API Q1 and ISO 9001.
The double deck 6 panel shale shaker and mud cleaner can be installed on top of offshore drilling platform. What equipments did GN Solids America showed at OTC 2025?
1. GNLW223D 9 inch Decanter Centrifuge: it has been widely used for diamond core drilling waste water treatment and fluids recycling, oil sludge treatment, tank cleaning, etc.applications. It Specially designed for small capacity, small footprint and fine solids separation.


2. GNSP-10B Sludge Vacuum Pump: it is a 100% air operated transfer pump used to transfer different materials such as oil sludge, drilling waste, contaminated soils and other solids in hazardous environments without electricity power requirement, especially suitable for electricity limited area. It can be also used as vacuum cleaner to pick up the splash waste from the rig floor, the movable design allow the vacuum pump to move easily. Except for GNSP-10B vacuum pump, we also have GNSP-20B and GNSP-40B vacuum pump for option with higher transfer flow.


3. Shale Shaker: High G force linear motion with 4pcs composite material frame shaker screens installed on the shale shaker, 2ea Martin brand vibration motors drived the shale shaker. GN Module Hydrovac Slurry Dewatering System for Overseas Client

Recently one complete set of module Hydrovac slurry dewatering system are ready for delivery.
There are totally five modules for the customized hydrovac slurry dewatering system：


Coarse screening module: GNLMP-1536 mining coarse separation screen is used to remove coarse solids from the construction slurry. The high screening efficiency and large treating capacity can ensure the further step treatment with better performance.


Fine screening module: Double deck fine screening shale shaker GNZS596K can separate fine solids from the construction slurry. The top layer screen work as coarse solids separation screen, the bottom layer screen works as fine solids separation screen, the max treating capacity is up to 140m3/h, compared with the single deck shale shaker, the double deck shale shaker can remove the fine solids better, and make the discharged solids drier.
Desanding & desiltering module: The mud cleaner is a combination of desander cone, desilter cone and bottom shale shaker. The desander cone separation cut point is 40 microns, the desilter cone separation cut point is 25 microns.


Centrifuge separation unit: The big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge GNLW553D-VFD is used to separate the ultra fine solids 5~10 microns by working with chemical doing unit, the mixed chemicals is prepared and transferred by the chemical dosing pump to static mixer, the fluids is feed by the feeding pump to the centrifuge feed tube, the chemicals adding is to increase the centrifuge separation performance and to make the discharged solids drier, which will be collected by waste collection box.
Chemical dosing unit: the 20ft containerized chemical dosing unit, including fully automatic polymer mixing, storage and injection to enhance dewatering. The container type chemical dosing unit is designed for convenient transportation, operation and for better protection.

What products will be showed at CIPPE exhibition?
1. The 4th generation Fully Hydraulic Drive decanter centrifuge, GN produced fully hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge have been widely used for onshore and offshore drilling fluids treatment. GN FHD decanter centrifuge can be used in high temperature for heavy duty mud with flexible bowl and differential speed. We can design and produce lifting frame and lifting pad which is comply with DNV 2.7/1 certificate to meet the offshore lifting requirement. ATEX explosion proof standard will be applied for class 1 div. 1 application. The hydraulic bowl and scroll drive system drives both the hydraulic motor ROTODIFF and the bowl of a decanter centrifuge from hydraulic pump unit by two hydraulic oil circuits. The bowl material is made of duplex stainless steel SS2304 from centrifugal casting, the screw material is stainless steel 304, and the screw propeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles for longer working life.
