As the reliable manufacturer of hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge in China, GN solids control recently shipped several units of Full Hydraulic Drive decanter centrifuge with feeding pump to Middle East, together with over 80 units of centrifugal pumps.


When we start production in the second factory in Dachang Chaobai River Development area, we introduced one batch of advanced machine to produce decanter centrifuge and vertical cuttings dryer, also for the centrifugal pump. We have high speed balancing machine, low speed balancing machine for balancing of centrifuge bowl. We can produce decanter centrifuge with 9 inch bowl, 14 inch bowl, 18 inch bowl, 22 inch bowl, 30 inch bowl for option, we have fixed speed centrifuge and VFD decanter centrifuge for different applications, also when used in high temperature weather area, for heavy drilling fluids, the user will need full hydraulic drive decanter centrifuge, compared with VFD decanter centrifuge, the hydraulic drive centrifuge is much easier to adjust the differential speed to reach better performance of the centrifuge treatment.


The feeding pump of the decanter centrifuge is positive displacement pump made by Germany Netzsch, it works steadily to feed the drilling fluids to the decanter centrifuge, the speed of the pump motor could be adjusted by PLC smart system so that the feeding flow rate will be controlled according to the client’s requirement.


4. The centrifugal pumps are widely used to transfer the drilling fluids, waste sludge, dredging slurry, oil sludge, etc. different materials and industry waste water. The major wear parts of the centrifugal pump is pump casing, impeller, the material of impeller and pump casing made by GN solids control is hard ductile iron alloy for longer working life and better wear resistance.

GN solids control showed our equipments at Petrotech 2019 in India from Feb. 10th to Feb. 12th. The equipments we showed at the oil show in India including:


1) Sludge vacuum pump: it can be used to transfer drilling cuttings, powder cement, waste sludge, oil sludge, drilling fluids, industry waste water, mining tailings, dredging slurry, sand, even for animal waste, etc. Especially for high viscosity sticky oil sludge from refinery crude oil tank bottom, the vacuum pump is an ideal equipments to transfer the oil sludge, but the flow rate will be different with the normal flow rate. Depends on the different conditions oil sludge, we will choose the proper model for our clients according to the question list they filled.


As a 100% air operation pump, the vacuum pump do not need any electricity to operation, this is pretty convenient in some jobsites when electricity is limited, the user can use the air compressor in the jobsite to provide air for the vacuum pump, they can choose automatic operation or manually operation for their requirement.
2) Centrifugal pump: the complete centrifugal pump is consist of pump head, coupler for motor end, coupler for pump end, electric motor, control panel, skid and other accessories. The pump head is the most important components for the centrifugal pump, our pump head and all the parts are interchangeable with world famous brand centrifugal pump.
3) Shale shaker: the 2 panel shale shaker is the smallest model we have now, we have 2 panel, 3 panel and 4 panel single deck shale shaker for option, also we have dual deck shale shaker for special purpose.

It is 100% air operation pump without electricity power supply, it is ideal equipment to work in the electricity limit area. The air compressor is required to provide air supply for the vacuum pump operation. Centrifugal pump is interchangeable with world famous brand centrifugal pump installation and parts, it can be used as mixing pump, feeding pump of desander, desilter, trip pump, super charging pump, transfer pump of oil sludge. Screw pump is normally as feeding pump of decanter centrifuge and flushing pump of vertical cuttings dryer.

This week GN solids control shipped one batch of mud transfer pumps and mud agitators to Asia client. The centrifugal pumps are 100% interchangeable with world famous brand centrifugal pump, we can provide bare pump head and all the parts and the whole centrifugal pump with motor, skid, coupler, and control panel.


Features of GN centrifugal pump:
1. The impeller and pump casing is made of hard ductile iron alloy, which is abrasion resistant material and can longer the working life of the centrifugal pump. Different with the other competitors grey steel material, it is easily break.


2. The bearing is top brand bearing for reliable operation, the client do not need to repair the pump time and time and delay their operation.
3. The mechanical seal is also an important wear parts for the centrifugal pump, for better sealing and zero leakage and longer working life.
4. The mounting skid of the centrifugal pump is made from casting instead of welding to provide the reliable operation and less vibration for longer working life.


Mud agitator is one of the mixer equipment to be installed on top of the mud tank, together with tank bottom mud gun for better agitating and mixing of the drilling fluids in the mud tank, to prevent the drilling fluids to be accumulated in the tank bottom. The direct connection mud agitator design is with compact size, convenient operation, maintenance and customized agitator shaft length and impeller size for better performance.

1500 HP drilling rig solids control system is ready for shipment to India, this is not a complete solids control system, but the essential mud tank for the solids control system- shaker tank, the technical specification is as below:


1) 3 units of GNZS703F-SHBF shale shaker with 3pcs screens with composite material frame shaker screens
2) 1 unit of GNZJ703F-S2S12NF mud cleaner which is desander cone, desilter cone and under flow shale shaker which is the same model with shale shaker


3) 1 unit of horizontal vacuum degasser GNZCQ360A
4) 1 set of mud tank equipped the equipments mentioned above, the mud tank dimension is 14000 x2800x 2500mm, including the trip tank, sand trap, desander compartment, desilter compartment, degasser compartment
5) 2 units of centrifugal pump as feeding pump of desander and desilter
6) 1 unit of centrifugal pump as trip pump
7) 1 unit of mud gas separator GNZYQ1000A
8) 1 set of carbon steel material shed for sun proof, rain proof


The one mud tank design is to meet the client’s requirement to replace the old shaker tank, and the remained part of the existing solids control system is still in usage. All the necessary connection dimensions can fit with each other through good communication with clients. The explosion proof electric control system is equipped to control all the electric motors in the system and the big motors are controlled in the MCC at client’s rig site.
