This week GN solids control shipped three containers of shaker screens to America warehouse, every month GN will ship thousands of shaker screens to Houston, USA to sell to our clients in North America and South America.

This week GN solids control shipped one unit of HDD mud recycling system and dewatering unit to Sinopec project. HDD is one of our major applications, GN equipments 4 major applications including oil & gas industry solids control system and drilling waste management system and oil sludge separation system, HDD & CBM industry mud recycling system, Piling & TBM desander unit, Industry waste water treatment.


The technical configuration is as below:
1) 3 phase cleaning mud recycling system mud tank, with containerized frame for convenient transportation, the user can put the mud tank and the frame with equipments on the trailer and move to another site from one site.
2) 1 unit of GNZS703F shale shaker as the first phase cleaning equipment, equipped with 3pcs of durable composite material shaker screens with customized API mesh screen. We produce OEM composite material shaker screens from API 20 to API 325 as per client’s requirement.


3) 1 unit of GNZJ703F-1S8N mud cleaner, with under flow shaker, desander cone and desilter cone combination unit. Equipped with 2 units of centrifugal pumps as feeding pump of desilter cone and desander cone.
When the drilling fluids temperature is over 70 degree, we will use special material hydrocyclones for longer working life.

5) Decanter centrifuge GNLW363C-VFD is the 4th stage cleaning to separate fine solids smaller than 15 microns. After several years working, more and more fine solids are accumulated in the tank bottom, these fine solids can not be separated by the desilter cone, then high speed decanter centrifuge is required to clean the drilling fluids, otherwise it can not be reused for drilling again.

Last week, GN finished production of 2 m3/h oil sludge separation system for USA client, this week, we finished production for 15 m3/h oil sludge treatment system for Europe client, this is the repeat order for this client, they bought one unit of 1 m3/h compact design oil sludge separation system for the same project. They are satisfied with the separation result, so repeat order for a bigger treating capacity system.
The configuration of the containerized 15m3/h oil sludge separation system:
1) Premixing tank: The sludge vacuum pump transfer the oil sludge from the waste pit to the pre- mixing tank, which is equipped with heating line inside the tank around, and the mud agitator installed on the tank to agitate the oil sludge to prevent the solids from accumulation in the tank bottom. The system will be used in cold weather area, we put them in the container to keep the equipments warm.


2) Shale shaker tank, to separate coarse solids from the oil sludge, this is to protect the decanter centrifuge, coarse solids will wear the centrifuge screw very quickly, GN decanter centrifuge screw is made of stainless steel 304 by heating, the flights are protected by tungsten carbide tiles, it is fixed by special glue and bolts.


3) Decanter centrifuge modular: With one unit of 22 inch bowl decanter centrifuge installed inside the 40ft container, the screw pump is installed on the centrifuge skid, the screw conveyor is installed under the centrifuge solids discharge port to transfer the solids outside the centrifuge container.

One set of complete oil sludge treatment system ready for delivery this week, this is a 2m3/h customized design oil sludge treatment system as per client’s requirement. The main purpose of the client is to recover the oil from the oil sludge. It can be widely used for refinery oil tank bottom cleaning, oil sludge separation, oil based cuttings treatment, contaminated soils treatment, hazardous waste treatment, etc. applications.


The technical configuration is as below:
1) Premixing Tank Module
The vacuum pump transfer the oil sludge from the waste pit to premixing tank, which is equipped with heating lines, mud agitator, the oil sludge will be washed, heating and agitating, mixing with chemicals for flowability.


2) Classify System: The oil sludge from premixing tank will be transferred to a V bottom tank with screw conveyor on the bottom for solids sedimentation and liquid classification. The top layer will flow to disc centrifuge for oil and water separation. The bottom layer will be washed with chemical jetting, which will be shipped to solids control module.


3) Solids Control module
The solids control module consist of course solids shale shaker and fine solids decanter centrifuge, the 2 panel shale shaker is the mini shale shaker among GN all the shale shaker models, it will reduce the solids content and separate the big solids bigger than 1mm, so that the decanter centrifuge will not be damaged.

The decanter centrifuge is the mini decanter centrifuge with 9 inch bowl, the highest speed is 4500rpm, the separation cut point is 2~5 microns. With good efficiency of the centrifuge, the clean fluids will flow to disc centrifuge for water oil separation, otherwise the high solids content will influence the separation result of the disc centrifuge.

This week GN shipped several units of waste water treatment decanter centrifuge to Russia, The model is GNLW363C-VFD, This is one of the most popular model decanter centrifuge among GN equipments, it can be applied for many industries including waste water treatment, drilling fluids recycling/ cleaning, dewatering unit, drilling waste management system, dredging slurry separation system, industrial waste water treatment and all the other liquid solids separation application.


There are many size decanter centrifuge for option, 9 inch, 14 inch, 18 inch, 22 inch, 30 inch with different treating capacity, the treating capacity for different material varies a lot for the same bowl size. For the same bowl size, we have different ratio when used for different industry, for example, 9 inch bowl centrifuge have models of GNLW223 and GNLW224, GNLW224 with longer bowl length, the ratio is 4, with better performance in separation, discharge fluids is more clear, the discharged solids is drier, it is an ideal decanter for the dewatering fluids, when the client need to get pure water to send to waste water treatment plant or drain off to the river/ pond.


The 14 inch bowl also have GNLW363 and GNLW364, The 18 inch bowl also have GNLW452, GNLW453-VFD, GNLW454-VFD for option, the 22 inch bowl also have GNLW553-VFD, GNLW554-VFD.
