The mud cleaning unit is used for drilling fluids recycling for construction slurry separation of pipe jacking machine and HDD rig trenchless project. If the client need to prepare for new drilling fluids, they can produce a mud storage tank with mud agitator and a jet mud mixer which combine with mixing hopper and mixing pump. Recently one unit of mud cleaning package equipment is ready for shipment to New Zealand. The system consists of coarse shaker separation unit, fine mesh shale shaker unit, desilter unit and decanter centrifuge unit with chemical dosing unit. It can be widely used for hydrovac waste cleaning treatment, construction slurry dewatering system.
The coarse shaker separation unit with coarse shaker tank, the slurry from vacuum truck are loading to catch hopper which with spray nozzles and big hole mesh then drop into the coarse shaker to separate the coarse solids, stone, mess. Agitators are installed on top of catch tank to avoid solids sedimentation. The submersible slurry pump transfer the treated slurry and feed to fine mesh shale shaker.
The fine mesh shale shaker separate the fine solids from the slurry and drop into shaker tank with mud agitator, the vertical pump feed the slurry to desilter cone, which can separate the solids bigger than 20 microns. The fluids is feed to decanter centrifuge which is installed on the telescopic skid, there is a fluids catching tank installed on the skid and under centrifuge to catch the treated fluids. A chemical dosing unit prepared for chemicals and feed to decanter centrifuge feed tube.
The hydrovac waste cleaning system has been widely used in North America and Australia, New Zealand. We can design customized slurry cleaning system according to client’s requirement. The decanter centrifuge used for construction slurry dewatering system is normally big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge, 30 inch bowl diameter, 131 inch bowl length, the max speed is 2650rpm with max G force 3000G, the typical speed is 2200rpm with typical G force 2412G. The max mechanical capacity is 285m3/h, typical capacity is 225m3/h, the dewatering capacity is 50m3/h, main motor is 160KW, back motor is 90KW, with VFD control panel.

This is a compact structure oil sludge treatment unit which can be used for testing, especially for the client who wants to invest high capacity oil sludge treatment system but not sure about the treating capacity, they can use the testing unit firstly before made a decision, due to the compact design, it will influence the continuous working of the unit, we need to make changes in the design if continuous working is required. Premixing tank and mixing tank with heatling lines, including stainless steel material tank, electric heating system, mud agitator, to collect fluids from shale shaker and feed to decanter centrifuge , or collect fluids from decanter centrifuge and feed to 3 phase disc centrifuge.
Shale shaker, to separate the coarse solids and reduce solids content, so the fluids meets the technical requirement to feed to the decanter centrifuge.

3 phase Disc centrifuge, to separate the little solids, oil and water, to get the clean oil recovery and clean water recovery, the water can be reused for circulation or sent to waste water treatment plant.

The 2nd generation vacuum shale shaker, the vacuum screen technology is introduced to recycle fluids and reduce waste. The catch pan is installed under the last screen panel of drilling fluids shale shaker, maximumly 1 unit of vacuum screen can be connected for 3 units of shale shaker. Extra vacuum unit with air source, a suction hose is connected to ViST vacuum unit, the compressed air or rig air supply to crease suction on the last screen top, pulling additional fluids off the drilling cuttings, it can reduce the fluids from the cuttings by 30% to 50%.
Drilling fluids decanter centrifuge, GN produce both 2 phase decanter centrifuge for solids liquid separation and 3 phase decanter centrifuge for solids oil water separation.
