GN solids control has one unit of compact design oil sludge separation system in stock for sale, the treating capacity is 1 m3/h of oil sludge, the electric motor and control system are all with explosion proof which can be used for oil industry and crude oil refinery.
The technical specification is as below:


1) Pre-mixing modular: including one premixing tank which equipped agitator on top and electric heating lines internally. This is important process to separate oil easily and increase the oil sludge flowability.
2) Coarse screening modular: one unit of mini shale shaker to separate coarse solids from the oil sludge, the discharged fluids drop into the second tank with heating lines inside the tank. A feeding pump transfer the discharged fluids from shale shaker to decanter centrifuge by adding proper chemicals before feeding.
3) Decanter centrifuge to separate fine solids from oil water fluids mixture, the mechanical cut point is 2 microns. The normal speed is 4500rpm with VFD control panel, the bowl material is made of duplex stainless steel.


4) Disc centrifuge to separate oil and water and solids, the clean oil is storaged in a buffer box and the discharged water flow to another buffer box, which can be reused in the circulation system.
5) Chemical dosing unit to add proper chemicals into the oil sludge for easier separation and reach better result.
The system is compact design which can be shipped by containers, for big project of oil sludge treatment, the client can use this system as a testing unit before order a big oil sludge treatment, we have 5m3/h, 15m3/h big oil sludge treatment system for option. Normally vacuum pump is used to transfer the oil sludge from waste pit to our system.

The technical specifications are as below:
1) 1 unit of GN dewatering decanter centrifuge laying into the 20ft container, the max speed is up to 3900rpm, the normal operation speed is 3200rpm, with separation cut point by mechanical separation is 2~5 microns. The max G force is up to 3063G, the normal G force is 2062 G, the bowl is made of duplex stainless steel 2205, the screw is made of stainless steel 304. The fluids distribution port and solids discharge port is made of tungsten carbide inserts and it is replaceable. The screw impeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles for longer operation time.


2) The chemical dosing system installed into a 20ft container, including 3 compartment tank with chemical feeding hopper, agitator, piping system and bracket, PLC control panel and chemical dosing pump. Normally flocculants will be added by the chemical dosing system to the decanter centrifuge feed pipe, so that the ultra fine solids will be accumulated to bigger size solids, the decanter centrifuge can separate them easily, it will increase the separation performance of the high speed decanter centrifuge.


3) The container equipped with doors, windows, air conditioner, lightings, etc. accessories for customer’s requirement. The 2 container design is customized design, usually we will put everything into a 40ft container for convenient transportation or without container as per client’s option.

Recently GN solids control shipped one set of drilling cuttings solidification unit to our client in Africa. The cuttings solidification unit is widely used for water based cutings final disposal. The technical specification of GN drilling cutting solidification unit:


1) GN stand drilling cutting solidification unit is mounted on 2 skid, one is solidification mixing unit, one is cuttings storage hopper skid. During transportation, the solidification unit is loaded into 40ft container, and the 2 separate skid for convenient operation.
2) The cuttings storage hopper skid including waste collection hopper and accessories and screw conveyor , the user can damp the cuttings waste into the collection hopper, the screw conveyor transfer the waste to solidification mixing unit continuously.
3) The solidification unit including lime storage box, absorber storage box, high shear mixer, all of these components are installed on one skid. The screw conveyor dropped the cuttings into the vessel, at the same time, the lime and absorber are transferred by separate augers, all of these materials are mixed into the vessel, and transferred by the inner screw to solids discharged port. If chemical is necessary, it can be add through the liquid inlet .
Before feeding the GN solidification unit, to save the operation and material cost, the drilling cutting should be as dry as possible. The client can use water based drilling waste management system before feeding to cuttings solidification unit.


Normally we use high G drying shaker and high speed decanter centrifuge package. The screw conveyor collect the water based drilling cuttings and transferred to high G drying shaker, the coarse solids are separated out, the fluids dropped into the buffer tank, the screw pump transfer the liquid to VFD decanter centrifuge, then the fine solids are separated out, the fluids are flow to solids control system for reuse, the cuttings are collected by trash box and feed to solidification unit.

Recently GN solids control shipped one set of oil and water separation package for China Oilfield Service company. The technical configuration is as below:


1) 2 phase decanter centrifuge to separate fine solids from fluids
2) Screw pump to feed the crude oil / oil sludge to decanter centrifuge
3) 3 phase centrifuge ( disc centrifuge) to separator oil from water, by adding proper chemicals, the recovered oil can be with BS & W below 3%, which can be accepted by most users.
4) Diaphragm pump to feed the clean fluids discharged from decanter centrifuge to disc centrifuge
5) Buffer storage tank for oil and water with oil pump and water pump, 2 liquid level meters are installed on each tank, when the oil or water level reached the setting level, the oil pump and water pump will pump the oil and water to the big storage tank
6) Package skid, all the above mentioned items sit on one skid for convenient transportation and operation

This is one modular of the oil sludge separation system, the complete oil sludge treatment system including waste pick up pump ( normally we used vacuum pump), Pre-mixing tank modular, screen modular to separate coarse solids, chemical dosing system, and the last modular is 3 phase separation package.
The pre-mixing tank is the most important part, when the solids content is higher than 30%, the waste oil sludge should be diluted by proper fluids and low the solids content below 30%, if necessary, the demulsifier should be added by this process for easier separation for the next phase separation. The mud agitator is agitating the oil sludge with chemical mixing evenly and the submersible slurry pump will transfer the fluids to screen modular to separate the coarse solids.

1) Decanter centrifuge : the decanter centrifuge can be widely used for solids control low gravity solids separation, drilling waste management system, oil sludge separation system, industrial waste water treatment system, dewatering unit, the max speed is 3900rpm, the normal working speed is 3200rpm, the separation cut point is 2~ 5 microns ; if with chemical dosing system, the separation cut point can be 1 microns. 2) Shale shaker: The linear motion shale shaker is used to separate coarse solids from the drilling fluids, drilling waste, oil sludge and all the other type sludge to reduce the solids content, and separate the big solids
3) ViST screen is installed attached with shale shaker to improve the separation performance and get drying discharge solids, the collection hopper is installed under the last piece shaker screens and connect to the vacuum unit, the user need to prepare a air compressor to supply air to the ViST screen.
4) Solids vacuum pump: the vacuum pump can be used to transfer different kinds of sludge and solids, like oil sludge, drilling cuttings, drilling fluids, sand, silts, hazardous contaminated soils, dredging slurry and all other kinds of slurry.


5) Shaker screen: we produce OEM and replacement composite material frame shaker screens, which is with longer working life and better performance, they are produced comply with API RP13C standard, all the wire mesh over API 60 use 3 layers stainless steel 316 material wire mesh. The storage life is up to 5 years.
