One unit of mud cleaner unit and one unit of decanter centrifuge are shipped to international drilling company. The order including one set of mud cleaner installed on the mud tank with 2 centrifugal pump as feeding pump of desander cone and desilter cone, and one unit of mixing hopper, one unit of mixing pump, and one unit of decanter centrifuge.
The decanter centrifuge features including:

  1. Bowl assy are made of duplex stainless steel 2205 or 2304, the other components of bowl are made of stainless steel 316L, the bowl collection vessel are made of SS304
  2. The bearing are SKF brand
  3. The fluids distribution port and solids discharged port are all protectedby tungsten carbide alloy, when it is damaged, it is interchangeable.
  4. The screw is made of SS304 material by heating treatment to 1000℃, the impeller are protected by tungsten carbide tiles, which is repairable
  5. We can make different size decanter centrifuge with different bowl size, including 9 inch, 14 inch, 18 inch, 22 inch, 30 inch.
    The mud cleaner is a 3 in 1 equipment including desander cone, desilter cone, bottom shaker, the treating capacity is 500gpm, the desander cone separation cut point is 45 microns, the desilter cone separation cut point is 20 microns, the composite material frame shaker screen are installed on the shale shaker with longer working life. The desander feeding pump feed the slurry to desander cone, the clean fluids drop into desander compartment, the desilter feeding pump feed the fluids to desilter cone, the clean fluids drop into the mud tank desilter compartment, the chemicals are adding by the mixing hopper, the mixing pump mix the clean fluids with powders to prepare for new drilling fluids, which can be reused for drilling. If required, the decanter centrifuge can separate fine solids size 2 ~ 5 microns.

Recently 3 units of trenchless GNMS-500D desander unit for HDD project in China. The desander unit can be widely used for HDD, trenchless engineering, piling slurry cleaning, Micro TBM ( Tunnel Boring Machine), diamond core drilling, water well drilling. Depends on the piling bore hole qty and depth or HDD machine required flow rate, we can help our client to select proper model mud cleaning system or provide a customized solution for their projects.


The technical configuration of GNMS-500D desander unit is as below:
The general treating capacity is 500gpm, desander separation cut point is 40 microns, the mud cleaner model is GNZY753E-Y1S with 1 ea 10 inch desander cone, with vibration strength is below 7.1G ( adjustable), the bottom screen area is 1.35m2, top screen area is 0.875m2, total screen area is 2.22m2. The hydrocyclone feeding pump is GNSB5X4C-13(12)J with 30KW motor. Total power is 32KW, the inland shipping dimension is 3103x1896x2441mm, the operation dimension is 3506x1896x3907mm, total weight is 2850kgs.


The working principal of piling desander unit is as below:
The submersible slurry pump pick up the slurry from mud pit to bottom shaker screens of the double deck shale shaker to separate coarse solids from the slurry and protect the centrifugal pump impeller, the fluids dropped into the mud tank and the desander feeding pump feed the fluids to desander cone, the fluids after treatment will flow to storage tank through pipelines, the solids are dropped on the top layer shaker screen and separated out. The user need to prepare the flexible hose to connect the submersible slurry pump with the desander unit, and mixing unit with hopper, and a big storage tank.


Except for GNMS-500D desander unit, we also have other models, as GNMS-200D desander with 200gpm treating capacity, GNMS-1000D desander unit with 1000gpm capacity.

Recently one unit of mud cleaning system for offshore platform is ready for shipment. Different with normal design drilling mud cleaning system for onshore drilling, the mud cleaning system for offshore is with different features, like compact design, convenient transportation, offshore lifting frame, explosion proof standard to meet offshore drilling requirement, painting and coating to meet offshore requirement for better corrosion resistance.


The technical configuration is as below:
1) One unit of linear motion shale shaker, the discharged solids are collected by buffer box and collected by screw conveyor, which can transfer the drilling waste to cuttings box. The shale shaker are installed on the mud tank with offshore standard lifting pad, it needs to be lifted to the offshore platform frequently, the safety should be assured. All the mud tank pipelines are layout outside for convenient maintenance and operation. All the valves, fittings, flanges are all oil resistance material for longer working life. The shale shaker equipped with 2 ea Italy Oil brand vibration motor, the shaker screens are produced comply with API RP13C standard, with 3 layers stainless steel material wire mesh, composite material frame for longer working life. The shaker screens fixing method is by wedges.


2) One unit of mud cleaner (desander, desilter and shale shaker 3 in 1), the desander cone and desilter cone are all made of 100% polyurethane material for longer working life. The bottom shale shaker is same model with the shale shaker, the shaker screens are with same dimension. The shaker deck bottom are made of stainless steel material for better corrosion resistance.
3) Centrifugal pump, the pump casing and impeller such wear parts are made of ductile hard alloy for longer working life, FAG brand bearing for reliable operation. We can get offshore lifting pad certificate as per client’s requirement.

Recently 2 sets of offshore drilling mud cleaner are ready for shipment, the difference of the offshore used mud cleaner with onshore drilling mud cleaner is the lifting point and explosion proof vibration and starter. The lifting pad system conforms to DNV 2.7-1 or CCS lifting certificate to meet for offshore drilling. We can make customized design equipments according to different requirements.


The mud cleaner equipped with 3 ea of 10 inch desander cone and 16 ea of 4 inch desilter cone, all of the hydrocyclones are made of 100% composite material for longer working life, especially when the solids content is very high, we will use metal cover outside the polyurethane material cone in case that the hydrocyclone will be easily deformed and damaged. 2 units of 1.72KW vibration motor from Italy Oli or US Martin brand are used to drive the bottom drying shaker. The lifting frame with offshore approved lifting pad is designed for convenient lifting the equipment from land to offshore rig. We can provide different explosion proof standard motor and starter based on different requirement.


The mud cleaner with a 4 panel screen bottom shale shaker to recovery more useful drilling fluids. All of the screens are composite material frame shaker screen with stainless steel 316 wire mesh, we use 3 layers of wire mesh for all the API mesh over API60, which has been widely used in different countries for oil drilling rig for treatment of different types drilling fluids, the working life is from 300 to 700 hours.
Except for mud cleaner, GN solids control also produce other solids control equipments such as shale shaker (both linear motion shale shaker and dual motion shale shaker), desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge, centrifugal pump, mud gas separator, vacuum degasser, mud agitator, mud gun and drilling waste management equipments.

Recently 2 package of tandem shale shaker are shipped to India client, we have finished the necessary inspection before delivery, water test and mud test under the required API mesh size.


The 2 units of single shale shaker are installed on one oilfield 3 runners skid as tandem shale shaker for convenient shipment and operation. 3 pcs of pre-tensioned durable composite material shaker screens are installed on the shale shaker, the deck bottom are made of stainless steel for better anti corrosion. The shaker deck, vibration beam and all the vibration and non vibration components are all made of stainless steel. The shaker skid are made of structure steel for better strength. The vibration motor and starter including the cables, cable glands are all DGMS approved explosion proof products, which can meet the user’s requirement in explosion proof standard.


The shale shaker is designed to treat both water based drilling fluids and oil based drilling fluids, the operation temperature is -5℃ ~+55℃. We can produce shaker screens comply with API RP13C standard, the API mesh size is from API 20 to API 300 based on client’s requirement. The wire mesh material is made of SS316L for longer working life, and 4 corner pre-tensioned before heating press process will increase the working life of the shaker screens.
The shale shaker is most important solids control equipment and the first phase cleaning equipment for a solids control system, a better performance shale shaker can reduce the drilling waste volume, so that the drilling waste treatment cost will be reduced, and it can recovery more useful drilling fluids for the drilling rig, reduce the burden of next step cleaning equipment like desander, desilter, mud cleaner, degasser and centrifuge.
