16 Sets Drilling Mud Centrifuge and Vertical Cuttings Dryer for overseas oilfield service company

One set of drilling mud centrifuge package including 1 unit of decanter centrifuge, telescopic skid and 1ea decanter centrifuge feeding pump. GNLW363D decanter centrifuge is the most popular high speed decanter centrifuge used for drilling mud treatment and drilling cuttings treatment. The bowl diameter is 14 inch, the bowl length is 50 inch, the designed treating capacity is 200gpm, and typical capacity is 132 gpm. The max bowl speed is 3900rpm, and typical bowl speed is 3200rpm. The max G force is 3063G, typical G force is 2062G. The separation cut point is 2 ~5 microns.

One set of vertical cuttings dryer package including 1 unit of vertical cuttings dryer, cuttings dryer skid, flushing pump and solids discharge system. The most popular vertical cuttings dryer model is GNCD930G, the treating capacity is 30 ~50 tons per hour. For the oil based drilling cuttings fresh collected from primary solids control shale shaker, the treated oil content in the cuttings is less than 5%. If the client needs less oil content in the cuttings, the solids discharged can be sent to Thermal Desorption Unit. The screen diameter is 930mm, we have 0.25mm, 0.35mm, 0.5mm three type screen opening for option. The rotation speed is 900rpm, G force is 420G, oil tank capacity is 48L. The main motor is 55KW, the oil pump motor 0.55KW.The standard vertical cuttings dryer with solids discharge collection hopper, as client’s requirement, GN designed customized solids discharge system with vibration motor for faster solids discharge.

The features of GNLW363D-FHD Fully Hydraulic Drive decanter centrifuge including:


1. ATEX motor and control panel, the cable meets the requirements for use in marine environments.
2. The hydraulic bowl and scroll drive system drived both the hydraulic motor ROTODIFF and the bowl of the decanter centrifuge from hydraulic pump unit by two hydraulic oil circuits.
3. The centrifuge can be used for high temperature ambient up to 55 C degree for heavy mud, suitable for zone 1 and zone 2 application.
4. VISCOTHERM Fully hydraulic drive system
5. Max speed is up to 3600rpm, max G force is up to 2610G.
6. The bowl material is duplex stainless steel SS2304 from centrifugal casting, the screw material is stainless steel 304.

During centrifuge working process, the bowl speed ,differential speed, fluids pool depth, feed rate, flocculant consumption can be adjusted according to actual situation. The higher bowl speed, the drier solids discharge, more clear liquid effluent to be get. The lower differential speed, the longer time of the solids phase stay inside the bowl, so the discharged solids will be drier.

The maintenance of the centralized lubrication system of GN vertical cuttings dryer is very easy, the user need to clean the oil tank regularly. If found abnormal, remove the screws at the four corners of the oil tank to separate the oil tank from others, tighten the 4 screws of the upper cover and oil tank. The mud discharged through the screen basket gap contains solid particles, which will damage the screen basket. When the solids layer increased to specific gap, the screen basket need to be replaced, otherwise the drilling cuttings dryness can not meet the technical requirement. Regularly check the wear of screen basket scraper, and adjust the gap between the scraper and the screen basket to keep the gap in a normal range.

GN Solids Control attended 2024 Beijing CIPPE Oil Equipment Show

This week GN solids control attend 2024 CIPPE oil show in Beijing. As one of the professional oil exhibition in China, we participate in CIPPE oil exhibition every year, to show our most advanced technology and equipments and meet with clients from domestic and worldwide.
