1500 HP drilling rig solids control system is ready for shipment to India, this is not a complete solids control system, but the essential mud tank for the solids control system- shaker tank, the technical specification is as below:


1) 3 units of GNZS703F-SHBF shale shaker with 3pcs screens with composite material frame shaker screens
2) 1 unit of GNZJ703F-S2S12NF mud cleaner which is desander cone, desilter cone and under flow shale shaker which is the same model with shale shaker


3) 1 unit of horizontal vacuum degasser GNZCQ360A
4) 1 set of mud tank equipped the equipments mentioned above, the mud tank dimension is 14000 x2800x 2500mm, including the trip tank, sand trap, desander compartment, desilter compartment, degasser compartment
5) 2 units of centrifugal pump as feeding pump of desander and desilter
6) 1 unit of centrifugal pump as trip pump
7) 1 unit of mud gas separator GNZYQ1000A
8) 1 set of carbon steel material shed for sun proof, rain proof


The one mud tank design is to meet the client’s requirement to replace the old shaker tank, and the remained part of the existing solids control system is still in usage. All the necessary connection dimensions can fit with each other through good communication with clients. The explosion proof electric control system is equipped to control all the electric motors in the system and the big motors are controlled in the MCC at client’s rig site.
Features of the solids control system:

This week GN shipped one set of workover rig solids control system to Australia. The configuration is as below:
1) Shaker tank with 2 units of shale shaker to clean the drilling mud


2) Mixing tank with mixing hopper, 2 units of centrifugal pump to prepare for new drilling fluids
3) Mud agitator, mud gun, pipelines, valves all equipped with both mud tanks
The difference for this solids control system between normal solids control system:
1) All the electric control system include cables, glands, electric components, and the design should be comply with Australia explosion proof standard
2) The lifting pad, walkway, handrail, the distance between adjacent components, etc should be comply with Australia safety regulations
3) The welding and painting standard is also very strict in Australia, the tank top surface is fixed with high strength glass fiber reinforced plastics.


4) The clean gate is with high position gate valve type clean gate for convenient operation and cleaning of the accumulated solids
GN design and manufacture the workover rig solid control system as per the client’s special requirement and Australia standard. This is not the first unit of solids control system shipped to Australia, we had sold over 30 units of mud recycling system for HDD industry.

The particular solids control system might
remove the large solid contaminants in the drilling mud to minimize the solids
content to ensure that to protect the transferring send that used to transfer
the particular mud back the machine for reusing. GN just simply finished one

This system is a two stages separation design product; the equipment
configuration is as beneath:
1 . Shale
shaker
unit GNZS594E-HB used for coarse strong particle separation. This
shale shaker unit could also be utilized as a high G pressure drying shaker
with variable G force up to eight. 4-panel screen makes a more substantial area
for drying often the drilling mud.
2 . VFD design decanter centrifuge system used for fine solids separating. The
first one unit centrifuge operates at a middle speed to eliminate most of the
solids to reduce often the gravity. The following second device VFD control
centrifuge might run at a high speed to get rid of the ultra fine solid waste
to make the drilling mud clean.
3. Screw pump prepared to transfer the dirt to the centrifuge. Horizontally set
up at the flank of the reservoir, it helps to tank leading more space for

4. Mud cleaner reservoir used as sand pitfall and active mud hard drive.
This system is to remove the sound particles in the drilling soil to make the
drilling fluids using again. After the solids being taken off, the fluids could

What Centrifuges does GN produce?

1.      High speed Decanter Centrifuge GNLW363C
series decanter centrifuge
. This is 14 inch bowl decanter centrifuge,
and very popular size and design. For the same model, GN has highest
configuration and economic configuration available. The highest configuration
is suitable for waste management use and also regarded perfect as dewatering
centrifuge. The economic configuration is suitable for separating the fine
particles for solids control system. For each configuration, there are fixed
speed and VFD controlled available.

2.    Middle
Speed Decanter Centrifuge GNLW452, with a 18 inch diameter bowl. In some cases,
it is regarded as big bowl centrifuge. it is perfect in practice for recovery
the barite in solids control system. It has only one motor, and a middle speed
of 1800RPM.

3.      Big
Bowl Decanter Centrifuge GNLW553VFD Centrifuge, with 22 inch diameter bowl, and
71 inch long. It is a bigger sized GNLW363C decanter centrifuge.

4.      Baby
Centrifuge, GNLW223, the bowl diameter is only 9 inch, it is commonly used for
diamond drilling or some mining projects.

Among those above mentioned decanter
centrifuges, GNLW363CG-VFD is the best seller. And it is always used for
drilling waste management systems together with other equipments for further
treating the drilling cuttings from a solids control system. For WBM systems,
they always use high-G dryer shaker, and for OBM
and SBM, they always use vertical cuttings dryer. Both
mentioned extra equipments are available by GN Solids Control.
