HDD Mud Mixing Tank and Mud Cleaning Unit for Middle East Customer

Recently one batch of HDD mud mixing tank and mud cleaning unit are ready for delivery to Middle East client.


Part one is HDD mud mixing tank, including Mud mixing hopper, centrifugal pump ( as mixing pump), centrifugal pump ( as transfer pump to transfer the mud after mixing to other tanks or HDD drilling machine), Mud agitator, mud mixing tank (20ft container size) with tank accessories and electrical control system and lighting.


Part two is HDD mud cleaning unit, including 1 set of 4 panel shale shaker, 1 set of linear motion mud cleaner, 2 unit of mud cleaner feeding pump, 1 set of mud tank (20ft container size) with tank accessories and electric control system, 1 set of lifting frame, lightings. The lifting frame is for convenient lifting of the shale shaker and mud cleaner at one time.
Part three is separate centrifugal pump with control panel.
It is a customized HDD mud recycling system for our client, we also have standard HDD mud recycling system for HDD, bored pile project, CBM, water well drilling and geothermal drilling, TBM, diamond core drilling, etc. applications.


We have 2 types of HDD mud recycling system for different requirement, one is economy mud recycling system, including GNMS-200K with 200gpm treating capacity, GNMS-500K with 500gpm treating capacity, GNMS-1000K with 1000gpm treating capacity.
The other type is self contained mud recycling system, including GNMS-200B with 200gpm treating capacity, GNMS-400B with 400gpm treating capacity, GNMS-600B with 600gpm treating capacity, GNMS-1000B with 1000 gpm treating capacity.
We can make the mud system as skid mounted mud system , it can be loaded on the container trailer for movement; it can be made as hydraulic jack up mud system and trailer mounted mud system.

Drilling Mud Recycling Unit and Decanter Centrifuges for overseas client

Recently one batch of drilling mud recycling unit and decanter centrifuges are ready for delivery to overseas client, including 2 sets of GNMS-500K drilling fluids recycling unit and 3 sets of GNLW364GT decanter centrifuge.
GNMS-500K drilling fluids recycling unit is economic type mud recycling system with treating capacity 500gpm. The technical configuration is as below:


Separation cut point 25 microns, total power is 25KW, and transferring tank volume is 3.4m3. With a mud cleaner GNZS754K-Y8N, adjustable G force ≤7.5 G, the top layer screen area 1.4m2, bottom layer screen area 1.4m2, 8ea of 4 inch desilter cone, desilter feeding pump GN100YZ100-30J. It is a compact design mud cleaning unit, which can be applied for trenchless HDD project, bored pile project, micro TBM, diamond drilling, water well drilling, etc.
Except for GNMS-500K drilling mud recycling unit, GN also produce GNMS-200K with treating capacity 200gpm, GNMS-1000K with treating capacity 1000gpm for drilling mud cleaning.


GNLW364GT decanter centrifuge is a 14 inch bowl T series dewatering decanter centrifuge, bowl length is 1520mm, bowl L/R ratio is 4.2, the max G force is 3200rpm, and max speed is 3964rpm, the T series decanter centrifuge bowl is interchangeable with Y series and C series bowl which is produced by GN solids control. The features is as below:
1. 8.5 degree beach angle to make the centrifuge cone section longer, so the drying and dewatering area is longer, which will improve the decanter centrifuge’s dewatering performance better, the discharged solids will be drier.
2. The centrifuge bowl is made of duplex stainless steel SS2205 or SS2304 by centrifugal casting, which is superior to the performance of SS304 and SS316L.
3. The screw propeller is protected by replaceable wear resistant alloy plate with longer service life

GN Solids participate in ITTC 2025 exhibition in China last week successfully. ITTC is an important exhibition for getting acquainted with new customers, meeting old friends, providing information on HDD industry trends, and sharing future technologies among international clients.

What products GN solids showed at ITTC 2025 exhibition？
1. TBM slurry separation plant GNTBM-360B, equipped with GNZS1536-2A (14KW) desander cleaner, the vibration amplitude is 4~8mm, the deck angle is adjustable from -3 °~ +3 °. The upper deck screen area is 5.4m2, and lower deck screen area is 5.4m2, with 2ea of 16 inches desander cone and 8pcs of 6 inch desilter cone, and the separation cut point is 30 μm.
2. Dewatering centrifuge: GNLW632B

3 Sets GNTBM-360 Slurry Separation Plant for Overseas Pipe Jacking Project

Recently 3 sets of GNTBM-360 slurry separation plant are shipping to overseas pipe jacking project.

The technical specification is as below:
The treating capacity is 360m3/h, separation cut point is 30μm, the effective tank volume is 24m3, total power is 164KW, the shipping dimension is L6058×W2438×H3115mm, it can be shipped by bulk cargo vessel, the gross weight is 23000 kgs. The GNTBM-360 Slurry Separation Plant consists of 2pcs of 16 inch desander cone, 8pcs of 6 inches desilter cone, with desander desilter feeding pump 75KW, the desander cleaner is GNZS1536-2A with lower deck screen area 5.4m2, upper deck screen area 5.4m2, the deck angle is±3 °.The mud tank size is same with 20ft container size, the equipments on top of the mud tank with lifting frame for convenient lifting and installation. The walkway and guardrail around the mud tank for convenient operation, the control panel is installed for easy operation for people stand on the ground.


The working process is as below:
The transfer pump feed the slurry to the double deck shale shaker lower deck through the coarse screening inlet pipe, to remove the coarse solids from the slurry. The built in #1 slurry pump transfer the slurry separated by coarse screening to desander cone, the clean mud flow out from the overflow port, the cuttings is discharged from the desander drop in apex, and fall on the upper deck of the double deck shale shaker to recover more useful fluids. The built in #2 slurry pump feed the clean mud to desilter cone, the clean fluids flows out from the desilter upper part, and overflows to the storage tank outside the system, which can be reused for the TBM machine. The solids particles will be dried and collected for disposal.

Drilling Mud Recycling Unit and Hydraulic Centrifuge for Overseas Client

Recently one set of 500 gpm mud recycling system for trenchless mud treatment and one set of diamond core drilling hydraulic drive solids removal unit for overseas client.
The 500 gpm mud recycling system consists of shale shaker, mud cleaner, desander feeding pump, desilter feeding pump, 20ft container size mud tank, 20ft container lifting frame, mud tank accessories and electric control system. It is a customized design 500gpm mud recycling system for our client, we also have standard 200gpm, 400gpm. 600gpm, 800gpm, 1000gpm mud recycling system for HDD mud cleaning, mixing, recycling.


The core drilling hydraulic centrifuge system is solids liquid separation of waste water for diamond core drilling. The features of the core drilling hydraulic centrifuge system including compact design, modular design, lightweight to meet the requirement for helicopter hoisting, can operate without electricity power supply. The technical configuration is as below:
1. GNLW223D-FHD hydraulic centrifuge
2. Feeding and discharge pump: 2X FHD pump
3. Treating capacity: 50~130L/Min
4. Separation cut point: 2~5 Microns
5. Driving method：Diesel + Hydraulic drive
6. Mud tank volume： 2m3
7. Total power consumption: 40KW

The treatment process is as below:


The mud is pumped into the sedimentation bin of the buffer tank, so that the large particle sedimentation. After that, the mud overflow to the slurry supply bin of the feeding tank, the pumped by the #1 slurry pump to the hydraulic centrifuge for ultrafine solids separation. If without the sedimentation process, one unit of mini shale shaker will be used to separate the coarse solids from the mud. The mud treated by the hydraulic centrifuge flows into discharge tank and transferred to drilling machine by No.2 transfer pump, the treated clean water can be reused to prepare for new drilling fluids and used by the core drilling for cost saving.
