In recent weeks, GN Solids Control just finished its production for a new project in the tunnel bored drilling industry, the order includes two large bowl decanter centrifuge and two containerized chemical dosing system. Successfully delivered this system to the customer representing GN’s great manufacturing capability and strong delivery capability.

GN Solids Control is a integrated company specialized in manufacturing the solid control equipment and spare parts, including but not limited to shale shaker, decanter centrifuge, cutting dryer, etc. This two new large bowl decanter centrifuge have the bowl size of 22 inches, and can process large volume of drilling mud and make it meeting the standard of disposal and recycle. This large bowl decanter centrifuge inherited the same great features from its predecessor 363 which is a very popular, mature and reliable product during all GN’s product line. The bowl material is made of 2205 stainless steel which is very tough and reliable, the screw conveyor surface is covered with tungsten carbide tiles which is easy for replacement and very easy for maintenance. The solid and liquid discharge port is also made with the tungsten carbide inserts, which has very good longevity. The bearing is provided by world famous brand SKF. All in all, this is a very cost effective but very good quality product. The containerized chemical dosing system is a great value and supplement to the decanter centrifuge, if the customer want to separate smaller solids, as the decanter centrifuge can only separate the solid size from 5-20 microns, when using the chemical dosing system, the solid separation size could reach up to almost zero. Last week, GN’s new order of a new system for soil remediation was successfully delivered to a customer’s job site in Seattle. This system mainly includes a high-G drying shaker, desilter, and a large bowl decanter centrifuge. Except for the main equipment, this system also includes some hoppers, tanks, centrifuge racks, pilling system and so on.

After years of development, GN has become a comprehensive company that can manufacture not only the single unit of solid control equipment, such as the shale shaker, decanter centrifuge, cutting dryer, mud cleaner, etc, but also it can manufacture many kinds of systems applied in the trenchless, tunneling, mining, oil and gas drilling. Either standard or customized, GN can all manufacture that for you.

After treating by GN’s equipment, the cuttings or solids will be dry enough and environmental friendly, can be directly disposed and recycled or reused. The high-G shaker’s G force could reach up to 8 G and can make the wastes very dry. All the components are world famous brand, MARTIN motor, and the shaker screens are all adopting GN’s new upgraded composite frame screen. The decanter centrifuge is 22 inch large bowl, the bowl material is made of very advanced and tough 2205 type stainless steel, all the screw conveyor’s surface is covered by tungsten carbide tiles. Recently GN just sold two decanter centrifuges to a US customer for their project in Canada. The two decanter centrifuges are 22 inches and 14 inches. This is a new project for the soil remediation, which is a new area for the decanter centrifuge application.
As an advanced decanter centrifuge manufacturer, GN’s decanter centrifuges have been sold to more than 60 countries, and after being tested and applied in the job sites, GN’s product performance proved to be reliable and consistent. Now GN can manufacture not only the single solid control equipment, but also the whole cleaning system, such as the shale shaker, decanter centrifuge, mud cleaner, cutting dryer, and various kinds of pumps. All the equipment can work together and combined as an integral part to clean the contaminated soil and water, and make it reusable and environmental friendly. The 22 inch bowl size decanter centrifuge has medium speed to do the coarse separation, the 14 inch bowl size decanter has fast speed to do the finer separation. You can also add a flocculate system to separate even finer solids, the size almost close to zero.

GN Solids Control got another big order recently for providing all the solid control equipment and parts for 16 drilling rigs in Ukraine. This is another great example to demonstrate GN’s manufacturing capability and service ability to provide the good quality solid control products.

The decanter centrifuge is also very compact and has small footprint, easily to remove and work in the remote area. The decanter centrifuge can separate the solid size up to 2 to 5 microns. When added some polymer, it can separate the solid size almost to zero. This can meet the most customer’s needs and requirements.
