GN 10,000 BBL Liquid Mud Plant Shipped to Africa

GN Solids Control has successfully completed the shipment of a state of the art 10,000 BBL Liquid Mud Plant to Africa. The new mud plant is engineered to meet the rigorous demands of modern drilling operations, combining high-capacity storage, advanced automation, and environmental stewardship into a single, transportable package.

Smart modular design: 750 BBL per tank, easy shipping, small footprint.
The total capacity of 10,000 barrels is distributed across multiple tanks, with each tank capable of holding 750 BBL. This modular approach offers significant logistical advantages, allowing for ease of shipping and a remarkably small footprint at the wellsite.
Special anti-corrosion coating – works with water-based and oil-based muds, longer life.

Durability is paramount in the harsh environments of drilling operations. The entire mud plant is protected by a special anti-corrosion coating system. This robust layer not only ensures a longer operational life for the equipment but also provides the versatility required to handle both water-based and oil-based drilling fluids. Integrated MCC and pump skids – remote control, efficient site management.

To enhance site management and operational efficiency, the plant is equipped with an integrated Motor Control Center (MCC) and pump skids. This centralized system enables remote control of all pumping and mixing processes.
The integrated approach minimizes the need for manual intervention at the equipment level, allowing for precise control from a central command hub. This improves safety, reduces human error, and streamlines the overall fluid management process.
Also equipped with oil based drilling cuttings treatment – green and productive.
VFD Decanter centrifuge and vertical cuttings dryer are applied to treat oil based drilling cuttings.

GN Solids Control attended 2024 Beijing CIPPE Oil Equipment Show

This week GN solids control attend 2024 CIPPE oil show in Beijing. As one of the professional oil exhibition in China, we participate in CIPPE oil exhibition every year, to show our most advanced technology and equipments and meet with clients from domestic and worldwide.


This year we showed the equipments as below:
1. ViST vacuum screen technology to work with 4 panel shale shaker for drilling fluids recovery and reduce drilling waste, it can save money for operation on drilling fluids and drilling waste management. The ViST pan is installed under the last screen and connected to ViST vacuum unit. The air compressor or rig air supply should be provided to create suction on the last screen surface, it can reduce the liquid on the cuttings by 30% ~50%.


2. Sludge vacuum pump and vacuum cleaner, GNSP40B & GNSP10B, it is 100% air operated, no need electric power, suitable for hazardous area application, it can be used to transfer liquid, wet sludge and solids, it can transfer solids size Maximum 50mm or 75mm, sludge solids content up to 80%.


3. Vertical cuttings dryer GNCD930G-VFD
4. GNLW363D-VFD decanter centrifuge, it is the most popular model used for drilling fluids treatment, dewatering unit, mining tailings separation, etc.


5. GNLW554FT-VFD Decanter centrifuge
6. Screw conveyor GNSC14-12B with gratings cover, and addtional safety features: Full Length Safety Grab Wires along the auger, we could offer CNEX, ATEX, IEC EX for options.
7. 3 phase decanter centrifuge GNLWS364FT-VFD, it can be used to separate oil, solids and water. It is the major equipment for oil sludge separation system.
