Recently one set of GN decanter centrifuge separation system are ready for shipment to Africa oilfield waste water treatment project. The system including mixing module, decanter centrifuge separation module, chemical dosing unit module, water recovery and transfer module.

The mixing module including mixing tank with mud agitator, to mix the oilfield waste water, the decanter centrifuge feeding pump will suck the water from the mixing tank to decanter centrifuge, at the same time, the chemical dosing unit will prepare the mixed chemicals and the screw pump will transfer the chemicals to centrifuge feed tube, so the decanter centrifuge can treat the waste water better, the treated water will flow to the water recovery tank and will be transferred to other tanks by the transfer pump.

The decanter centrifuge can separate the waste water into solids phase and liquid phase, GN also produce three phase decanter centrifuge, to separate the waster water into oil, water and solids. A three phase decanter centrifuge uses continuous high G centrifugal force to separate components based on density differential. The three-phase separation (solids, water, oil) happens because:
Solids (highest density) move to the bowl wall.
Water (middle density) forms an intermediate layer.
Oil (lowest density) forms an inner layer (if present in sufficient quantity).
GN decanter centrifuge features including:
1. The bowl and screw core shaft are made of duplex stainless steel SS2205 or SS2304 by centrifugal casting, which is superior to the performance of SS304 and SS316;
2. The solids outlet and liquid outlet are protected by replaceable hard alloy sleeve.
3. The main material of the screw is duplex stainless steel SS2205 or SS2304.
4. The screw propeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles for longer working life.
