Recently GN shipped high G force drying shaker and mud cleaner for offshore project. The technical configuration is as below:


1) The shale shaker is installed on the catching tank with offshore lifting standard, The lifting pad on the 4 corners of the catching tank is made to meet the offshore lifting standard. GN F version high G force drying shaker with G force up to 8.0G, the 2 nos of Italy Oil vibration motor are equipped with the shale shaker, GN own made explosion proof starter have options of ATEX, IEC EX to meet different client’s requirement. As the first phased cleaning equipment, the performance of the shale shaker is very important, a good performance shale shaker will reduce the drilling waste, recover more useful drilling fluids, reduce the coarse solids effectively from the drilling fluids, and protect the further equipments like centrifugal pump, desander cone, desilter cone, so that they will not be damaged by coarse solids and high solids content, the users can save drilling cost a lot.


2) The mud cleaner is also called 3 in 1, it is the combination of underflow flow shale shaker, desilter cone and desander cone. The desander cone is the second phase cleaning with separation cut point 45 microns, the desilter cone is the third phase cleaning with separation cut point 25 microns.
3) The shaker screens equipped with the shale shaker and mud cleaner is composite material frame shaker screens, the working life is much longer than normal steel frame shaker screens, the storage life is up to 5 years, the effective screen area is 20% larger than traditional steel frame shaker screens.

Recently GN solids control shipped one batch of the shale shaker, decanter centrifuges to Russia drilling rig. The client will produce the mud tank locally to save freight cost, import tax and save delivery time, and buy the major equipments from GN.


Shale shaker is the most important equipments and first phase cleaning equipment for oil drilling rig solids control equipments, the lastest model shale shaker is F version shale shaker. Compared with the previous version shale shaker, the features of F version shale shaker is as below:
1) Composite material frame shaker screen for longer working life, the screen mesh over API 60 all use 3 layers wire mesh for reliable quality.


2) The screen deck bottom is made of stainless steel 304 material for better Corrosion resistant, with 3 layers costing and painting with Japan Kansai brand or US PPG brand Marine anticorrosive painting.
3) Italy Oil brand vibrator or Itavibras or US Martin brand vibrator to meet client’s different explosion proof requirement。

Decanter centrifuge with 3200rpm high speed to separate the low gravity solids, after long period drilling, more and more fine solids will accumulate in the drilling fluids, which can not be separated by desilter cone and low speed decanter centrifuge, then the recovered the drilling fluids can not be reused to prepare for new drilling fluids, the user need the high speed centrifuge to reduce the solids content and separate the fine solids out. Normally they will use the low speed centrifuge before the high speed centrifuge for barite recovery, or they can use a VFD decanter centrifuge to use for both barite recovery and LGS if there is not enough space to install 2 centrifuges.

1500 HP drilling rig solids control system is ready for shipment to India, this is not a complete solids control system, but the essential mud tank for the solids control system- shaker tank, the technical specification is as below:


1) 3 units of GNZS703F-SHBF shale shaker with 3pcs screens with composite material frame shaker screens
2) 1 unit of GNZJ703F-S2S12NF mud cleaner which is desander cone, desilter cone and under flow shale shaker which is the same model with shale shaker


3) 1 unit of horizontal vacuum degasser GNZCQ360A
4) 1 set of mud tank equipped the equipments mentioned above, the mud tank dimension is 14000 x2800x 2500mm, including the trip tank, sand trap, desander compartment, desilter compartment, degasser compartment
5) 2 units of centrifugal pump as feeding pump of desander and desilter
6) 1 unit of centrifugal pump as trip pump
7) 1 unit of mud gas separator GNZYQ1000A
8) 1 set of carbon steel material shed for sun proof, rain proof


The one mud tank design is to meet the client’s requirement to replace the old shaker tank, and the remained part of the existing solids control system is still in usage. All the necessary connection dimensions can fit with each other through good communication with clients. The explosion proof electric control system is equipped to control all the electric motors in the system and the big motors are controlled in the MCC at client’s rig site.
Features of the solids control system:

Recently GN solids control shipped 8 sets of shale shaker without vibration motor shipped to our clients, the client will install the vibration motors by themselves who had installation capability. This is not the first order from this client, they repeat orders because they are satisfied with the working performance of GN shale shakers which they ordered before.


Shaker deck is the most esscential components for a shale shaker, the bottom material treatment before painting, we owns our ball blasting machine, the ball blasting degree is 2.5 with working life 10 years more, we can control the bottom treatment quality better, unlike other solids control manufacturer in China, they use sand blasting which is provided by third party supplier. 3 layers painting and coating by choosing Japan Kansai or US ppg brand painting, to promise the shaker deck not to get rusty and abrasion during the operation. In some tenders, it required the complete the shaker deck( all the vibration and non vibration components) are made of stainless steel material, it will increase the shaker production cost a lot and the the client has to pay more money.


The deck bottom of GN shaker is made of stainless steel material, and the unique rubber sealing technology to ensure the reliable performance of the rubber sealings, we also use GN own made composite material shaker screens, the working life is 2 times compared with the traditional steel frame shaker screens.
