The mud agitator is consist of electric motor and gearbox and skid, it is installed on the mud tank to prevent the solids from accumulation on the tank bottom. The mud gun length and mud agitator shaft length is customized according to mud tank inner depth. GN mud agitator have C version and D version, the C version mud agitator is that the electric motor and gearbox is connected by coupler , if the client need local standard motors or they want to install their own motors, they can buy the gearbox with coupler and skid, and install the motor locally to meet the special explosion proof standard. D version mud agitator is the lastest mud agitator, the gearbox and electric motor is connected directly, with compact design, it will save space on the mud tank, and easy for maintenance.
The slurry vacuum pump is the most popular drilling cuttings transfer pump since this year, with the advanced technology. The lubrication system is electrically interlocked with the main motor starter to prevent machine operation in the event of low or no oil pressure to the gearbox. The VFD control panel can facilitate soft starting, fingertip control of the VFD system can change the motor speed and thus the G force can be changed to the working conditions. This centrifugal degasser adopts many advancing features of similar products from both China and all around the world. Comparing with GN’s ZCQ series vacuum degasser, GN centrifugal degasser inherited its advantages and also got some new great features below.
1. Compact design and small footprint, with its vertical structure, the centrifugal degasser could be  installed firmly as a very compact equipment , which will leave more space on tank surface for other solid control equipment.
2. Energy saving. The centrifugal degasser is no longer needing a vacuum pump to produce vacuum for removing the cut-in gas out of the mud which will save a lot of energy. And no extra feeding pump is needed for transferring the drilling mud into the degasser unit, which is also a cost and energy saving solution.
3. The impellers could also be used as agitators for preventing the solids settling at the bottom of the tank.
The centrifugal degasser is mainly composted of transmission unit, impelling unit, gas flow manifold, pressurizing unit, coarse piece separating unit and fixing pieces. The structure is simple and it could be manufactured in a short time to guarantee the requirement of some urgent delivery.
