Recently one unit of decanter centrifuge and desander unit are shipped to trenchless engineering company.
The mud decanter centrifuge model is GNLW452D, it is the popular model among GN decanter centrifuge for trenchless drilling mud treatment. The middle speed decanter centrifuge separation cut point is 5 ~7 microns, after long time operation, the ultra fine solids which can not be separated out by hydrocyclones will accumulate in the mud tank, which can not be reused directly, the customer need the decanter centrifuge to separate the solids up to 5 microns, the dewatering unit can be applied if required, then the clean fluids can be reused to prepare for new drilling fluids.


The mud cleaning desander unit is GNMS-1000D, with treating capacity 1000gpm, the separation cut point is 45 microns, the working process is as below: the submersible slurry pump feed the mud to desander unit bottom layer screen for coarse solids separation, the fluids drop into the catching tank under the double deck shale shaker, the centrifugal pump feed the slurry to desander unit for fine solids separation, the solids discharged are drying by top layer shaker screen to collect more useful fluids, the desander cone separation cut point is 45 microns. The clean mud flow to the storage tank directly, If the customer need mud mixing to prepare for new fluids, they can connect the jet mud mixer with the storage tank by flexible hose, the mixing hopper, mixing pump and pipelines, control panel are all installed on one skid .

Recently one unit of GNMS-1000D HDD desander plant and GNMS-500D HDD desander unit, one unit of dewatering centrifuge GNLW554E-VFD, three set of mud mixing and storage system, one unit of jet mud mixer are shipping to engineering company.


The HDD/ TBM desander unit are a compact design mud cleaning system, the technical configuration is as below:
Double deck shale shaker with hydrocylones as 2 phase cleaning equipment, the first phase cleaning is coarse solids separation shaker screen, normally we use API 40 or API 60 shaker screen; the second phase cleaning is fine solids separation by desander cone, the solids are drop down to the fine mesh shaker screen to collect more useful fluids. One feeding pump for desander cone are installed on the compact mud tank with electric control panel, cable connection, pipelines and accessories. The cut point of the desander unit is 40 microns. The GNMS-500D desander unit with one unit of desander cone, the treating capacity is 500gpm; GNMS-1000D deander unit with 2ea desander cone, the treating capacity is 1000gpm. The shaker screen installed on first layer and second layer are both composite material frame shaker screen, the screen locking way is by wedges.


The dewatering centrifuge GNLW554E-VFD is used after the desander unit, the separation cut point is 2 microns, it can separate most of the fine solids, the big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge can meet the requirement of big tdewatering capacity, the recovery fluids will be storage at the 3 mixing & storage tank, the jet mud mixer can mix the fluids with powder chemicals to prepare for new drilling fluids, which can be reused to save drilling cost. The pipelines between 3 mud tanks are in parallel connection, so that the jet mud mixer can mix in any tank. Each tank with its mud agitator for better mixing.

Recently 3 units of trenchless GNMS-500D desander unit for HDD project in China. The desander unit can be widely used for HDD, trenchless engineering, piling slurry cleaning, Micro TBM ( Tunnel Boring Machine), diamond core drilling, water well drilling. Depends on the piling bore hole qty and depth or HDD machine required flow rate, we can help our client to select proper model mud cleaning system or provide a customized solution for their projects.


The technical configuration of GNMS-500D desander unit is as below:
The general treating capacity is 500gpm, desander separation cut point is 40 microns, the mud cleaner model is GNZY753E-Y1S with 1 ea 10 inch desander cone, with vibration strength is below 7.1G ( adjustable), the bottom screen area is 1.35m2, top screen area is 0.875m2, total screen area is 2.22m2. The hydrocyclone feeding pump is GNSB5X4C-13(12)J with 30KW motor. Total power is 32KW, the inland shipping dimension is 3103x1896x2441mm, the operation dimension is 3506x1896x3907mm, total weight is 2850kgs.


The working principal of piling desander unit is as below:
The submersible slurry pump pick up the slurry from mud pit to bottom shaker screens of the double deck shale shaker to separate coarse solids from the slurry and protect the centrifugal pump impeller, the fluids dropped into the mud tank and the desander feeding pump feed the fluids to desander cone, the fluids after treatment will flow to storage tank through pipelines, the solids are dropped on the top layer shaker screen and separated out. The user need to prepare the flexible hose to connect the submersible slurry pump with the desander unit, and mixing unit with hopper, and a big storage tank.


Except for GNMS-500D desander unit, we also have other models, as GNMS-200D desander with 200gpm treating capacity, GNMS-1000D desander unit with 1000gpm capacity.

Recently we shipped one set of dewatering centrifuge with chemical dosing system to Singapore for TBM project. They bought one set of TBM desander unit model number GNMS-1000D before, which is our economic configuration mud cleaning unit for TBM slurry.
The technical specs are as below: Double deck shale shaker with 2 ea of 10 inch desander unit installed on a compact size mud tank with stairs, centrifugal pump feed the slurry to desander cone.
The working process is as below: the submersible slurry pump transfer the slurry to bottom shale shaker to separate coarse solids from the slurry, the fluids dropped into the mud tank, the centrifugal pump feed the clean fluids to desander cone, the clean fluids discharged from outlet pipe and flow to storage tank for reuse or further treatment. The separation cut point is 45 microns. The discharged solids dropped down to top layer shaker screen to recycle more useful fluids.
The dewatering decanter centrifuge model number is GNLW553-VFD,the bowl diameter is 550mm, the bowl length is 1800mm, the max capacity is 500gpm, and typical capacity is 400gpm, when adding flocculants, the treating capacity will be smaller based on different materials. The main motor is 90KW, the back drive motor is 37KW, the differential speed is 0 ~ 45 rpm, gearbox torque is 12000 N.m., the typical speed is 0 ~2500 rpm, the typical G force is 0 ~1888G.
Since the slurry desander unit separation cut point is 45 microns, it can not be reused directly, the dewatering centrifuge with flocculants can separate fine solids from the slurry up to 1 microns, the recovery water is clean and can be reused for TBM project to save cost for the client. The discharged solids with less moisture can be collected by bag and ship out by truck conveniently.

As a professional piling desander unit manufacturer in China, our desander unit has been widely used for bored piling project and TBM project in the world and domestic market. Recently we shipped 10 units of 500gpm desanding unit to Asia client. The configuration is as below:


1) 1 ea of 10 inch desander cone installed on the double deck shale shaker, the separation cut point is 40 microns.
2) The double deck shale shaker is installed on the V bottom mud tank, the feeding pump of the desander cone is installed on the mud tank as compact design.
3) No mixing hopper and mixing pump is included in the desanding unit, if the client need mud mixing unit, we will provide a separate jet mud mixer with a storage tank to connect with the desanding unit.
The working principal is as below:


1) The submersible slurry pump outside is feeding the bored piling or TBM slurry to the double deck shaker bottom screen, to separate the coarse solids from the slurry, the slurry is dropped into the mud tank, the centrifugal pump will transfer the slurry to the desander cone to separate the fine solids up to 45 microns. The double deck shale shaker can increase the treating capacity and better separation performance.
2) The clean fluids are flow to a separate mud tank for reuse, the user can connect the jet mud mixer with this tank to add chemicals and prepare for new fluids.
3) The centrifugal pump installed in the desander unit is produced by GN solids control, the pump head and all the parts are interchangeable with world famous brand centrifugal pump. The wear parts impeller, mechanical seal and pump casing is made of hard ductile iron alloy for better abrasion resistant.
