The purpose to use GN Hydrovac Slurry Treating System is to get solids and recover water, the water can reused to flush the hydrovac trucks and send to third party waste water treatment facility for further treatment, and reuse for other applications. What is hydrovac excavation?
Hydro Excavation is the process of removing or moving soil with pressurized water. Large volume water is required for Hydro Excavation, water recovery can save cost for the user of Hydro Excavation.
By using GN Hydrovac Slurry Treating System, the user can recovery most of fluids from discharged solids, which is environment friendly and reduce solids disposal cost.
The technical configuration is as below:
1) Slurry collection hopper modular to receive slurry from the Hydrovac truck conveniently
2) Coarse solids separation shaker modular to separate big solids from the slurry, the shaker screen is special for durable life during working.
3) Fine solids separation shaker and desilter, the 4 inch desilter cone separation cut point is 20 microns


4) Decanter centrifuge modular with chemical dosing unit
A big bowl big volume decanter centrifuge should be applied when chemical is adding into the fluids, the function is to accumulated ultra fine solids to bigger size solids, so that it will be easily separated out by centrifugal force, the max G force of GNLW553C-VFD decanter centrifuge is 2719G, max speed is 3000rpm. The separation cut point is 2~ 5 microns.
5) Mud tank to install all of the equipments on it in modular for convenient transportation.

One set of dewatering centrifuge package is shipped to Southeast Asia for TBM mud treatment and water recovery project. The technical specifications are as below:
1) 1 unit of GN dewatering decanter centrifuge laying into the 20ft container, the max speed is up to 3900rpm, the normal operation speed is 3200rpm, with separation cut point by mechanical separation is 2~5 microns. The max G force is up to 3063G, the normal G force is 2062 G, the bowl is made of duplex stainless steel 2205, the screw is made of stainless steel 304. The fluids distribution port and solids discharge port is made of tungsten carbide inserts and it is replaceable. The screw impeller is protected by tungsten carbide tiles for longer operation time.


2) The chemical dosing system installed into a 20ft container, including 3 compartment tank with chemical feeding hopper, agitator, piping system and bracket, PLC control panel and chemical dosing pump. Normally flocculants will be added by the chemical dosing system to the decanter centrifuge feed pipe, so that the ultra fine solids will be accumulated to bigger size solids, the decanter centrifuge can separate them easily, it will increase the separation performance of the high speed decanter centrifuge.


3) The container equipped with doors, windows, air conditioner, lightings, etc. accessories for customer’s requirement. The 2 container design is customized design, usually we will put everything into a 40ft container for convenient transportation or without container as per client’s option.

As a professional automatic tank cleaning system manufacturer in China, GN solids control recently finished production of one set of automatic tank cleaning system for our client in South America. Except for tank cleaning system, we also produce waste water treatment plant for oil water and solids separation system and water treatment plant for construction mud settlement and industrial waste water settlement.


Also we can produce oil water separator and Inclined Plate Clarifier which is used to removal of settleable solids in a variety of waste streams.This is normally used before the oil water separator to separate the ultra fine solids from the waste streams, this is to protect the oil water separator from damaged or blocked by the high solids content and reach better performance.


The slop processing capacity is 30m3/h and the clean water treating capacity 7.5m3.
The technical configuration is as below:
1) Filter to separate the coarse solids bigger than 2mm
2) The vacuum pump to pump the waste water from tank to Inclined Plate Clarifier
3) The chemical dosing unit working with static mixer for flocculation, so that the accumulated solids could be separated out easily.


4) The buffer tank as storage tank of clean water with liquid level meter to control the pumps automatically.
5) Different types of pumps including high pressure centrifugal pump, vacuum pump, air operated positive displacement pump.
All the equipments and components are installed on one skid for convenient transportation.

One unit of 1m3/h oil sludge treatment system testing unit is shipped to Europe recently, this is for client’s urgent requirement, later the 15m3/h oil sludge separation system will be shipped next month for the same client.


The client has visited GN factory in Beijing twice, after factory inspection and business negotiation, they placed order for the 15 m3 oil sludge treatment system, and also the 1 m3/h oil sludge separation system for urgent purpose.

The main components of the system including:
1) 2 panel shale shaker to separate coarse solids from the oil sludge in case of any coarse solids will damage the decanter centrifuge
2) 2 phase mini decanter centrifuge to separate the fine solids maximumly from the oil sludge by mixing with chemicals, with fluids collection box
3) 3 phase disc centrifuge to separate the oil from water to get pure oil and pure water

The system is originally produced to show at CIPPE oil exhibition, after the exhibition, we shipped the testing unit to a domestic client for testing their oil sludge treatment, they use the proper chemical jetting and get the satisfied result, then we shipped the unit back to our factory for cleaning, and prepare to test in other client’s jobsite.
